Goce Delchev University of Stip is the 4th state university founded in 2007 and the main campus of the university is located in the city of Shtip, Macedonia and the rector of the university is Dr. Sasha Mitrev. The university located in the east of Macedonia meets the educational needs of students from both its country and from abroad. Another feature of the city of Shtip is that it meets the textile needs of the country just like Denizli. Apart from the main campus, other campuses are located in the cities of Probishtip, Kocani, Radovis, Kavadarci, St. Nicholas, Gevgelija, Vinica and Strumica. The university uses the ECTS system used by the world universities and the diploma of the university is equivalent with many countries because of the agreements it has made.

The university was approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in 2010 by the equivalence regulation and it has taken in the international catalogue. Also, the university continues its educational life concertedly by making bilateral agreements with TRAKYA UNIVERSITY, Nevsehir University, Bozok University, Nigde University located in Turkey and with universities in many EU countries. The language of instruction of the Goce Delchev University of Shtip is Macedonian. For this reason, foreign students coming from abroad are required to complete 1 year preparatory class successfully.

There are 13 faculties, 4 campuses within the scope of Goce Delchev University of Stip and it provides quality education to more than 19,000 local and foreign students.

The quality education provided by the university is understood from the increasing of the percentage of enrolled foreign students. Students, coming from neighboring countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Croatia and coming from more distant countries such as Germany, USA, Turkey, have chosen this university because of different reasons. It has excellent conditions for living in a comfortable and professional environment as well as working programs.

Students also have chance to get the blue diploma (European Union Diploma), when they graduate from this school.

The score is not required at Goce Delchev University of Shtip. It is within the scope of the equivalence of the Council of Higher Education.
